October 8, Exposure Series, Education First Building, Cambridge, 6:30 pm

Join Morning Camera for the first gathering of the Exposure series. Dive into Boston’s rock history with a panel discussion followed by a performance by the musicians who helped shape the local music scene.

This panel discussion and musical performance brings together Morning Camera members David Champagne (vocals and guitar) Rick McLaughlin (bass), Dinty Child (organ), Russ Gershon (saxophone), Jerome Deupree (drums). Moderated by Berklee professor, Rick McLaughlin, the panel will explore Boston's influential rock scene through the experiences of musicians who helped shape it.

Designed as both a live music event and an educational experience, Exposure offers music enthusiasts and college and university students a firsthand perspective on music history, creative practice, and the evolution of a regional music scene.

Education First is located on a public park space in the Northpoint section of Cambridge. As part of the organization’s agreement with Cambridge, the first two floors are available to the public.

EARFULL is a hosted performance series featuring writers and musicians doing their respective things in an intimate setting. WRITERS read from their new books, or about-to-be books, or right from their crumpled up notes. MUSICIANS range from harpists to horn blowers, from singer-songwriters to full-on rock bands.
